Trojan asteroids are bodies trapped near the gravitationally stable L4 and L5 Lagrange points of a planet-Sun system, sharing the planet's orbit while leading or trailing it by 60 degrees. Jupiter has over 7,000 known Trojans; Earth, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune also have Trojans.
