A radio telescope collects radio waves from astronomical sources using large parabolic dish antennas or phased-array receivers. Radio astronomy has revealed pulsars, quasars, the CMB, molecular clouds, and fast radio bursts, opening the sky at wavelengths invisible to the human eye.
