Dark Matter

Dark matter is a form of matter that does not interact with the electromagnetic force, making it invisible to all wavelengths of light. It accounts for about 27% of the total energy content of the universe and is inferred from gravitational effects such as galaxy rotation curves, gravitational lensing, and the large-scale structure of the cosmos.
