Bolometric Magnitude

Bolometric magnitude is a measure of a star's total luminosity across all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, not just the visible band. A bolometric correction is applied to convert a visual magnitude to a bolometric magnitude, accounting for energy radiated outside the visible range.
