Brown Dwarf

Brown dwarfs occupy the mass range between the most massive gas giant planets and the least massive hydrogen-fusing stars (13-80 Jupiter masses). They are too light to sustain steady hydrogen fusion, instead fusing deuterium briefly and gradually cooling over billions of years.
